About this tool

Create test fixtures, sample identifiers and random text from the alphabet you choose. Each character is selected with browser cryptographic randomness. For credentials that must include every selected character group, use the password generator.

How to use it

  1. Set the length and number of strings.
  2. Select character groups or enter a custom alphabet; enable the ambiguous-character filter when the result will be read or typed.
  3. Generate a fresh batch and copy the result.
Example

A custom alphabet of ABC123 and length 8 produces strings such as B3A21C1A; your result will differ.
